| Annotation: | The article has examined the issues of the progress of development of the RF continental shelf. In compliance with the experts’ evaluation the sharp reduction of oil mining can occur in Russia in four years. The main region, where the most significant increase of the reserves, discovering of large and giant deposits shall be expected, is the continental shelf, first of all the Arctic one. The Arctic shelf will help to increase the tax payments up to 4 percent of the federal budget per year. The article has demonstrated the prospects of the use of foreign experience (in particular, Brazil) in order to attract investments and technologies into the shelf deposits development. |
