INSURANCE AS THE ELEMENT OF THE PROPERTY RISKS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM OF THE POWER-ENGINEERING COMPANY

The present article has briefly examined the theoretical characteristic of the insurance contract, namely the property insurance of the power-engineering companies; and has provide the analysis of the significant features of management of the said type of insurance. The peculiarities of the power engineering companies property insurance have been underlined. The objective of the law-maker is to adopt additional legal enactments that will distribute risks in compliance with the companies’ specificity, will determine and assist businessmen in determination of the cost of the assets to be insured, in order to increase effectiveness of insurance application. As soon as the risks are legally defined and their insurance measures are fixed, the issue of the lack of information regarding insurance methods and the errors while selecting the method of insurance will be resolved. As long as the insurance and re-insurance scope of the Russian insurance companies is increased, the prices will go down, and the insurance business will enter the heat and power engineering complex. In such case the insurance instrument will ne reliable and effective.
