DEMOGRAPHIC POLICY AND THE SPECIFICS OF THE DEMOGRAPHIC DEVELOPMENT IN ULYANOVSK REGION

The article examines demographic situation and demographic development in Ulyanovsk region using statistical indicators and measures of demographic policy applied by the government of Ulyanovsk region to stimulate the birth rate, decrease of mortality of the population, reduction of out-migration. The authors make conclusion of the necessity to change the attitude of society to the family and family values, implementation of measures on formation of healthy way of life and reduction of morbidity of population, strengthening of the institute of family and promotion of family and spiritual values, growth of migration attractiveness of the region through the number of measures for socio-economic development of the region.
