| Annotation: | The article examines the functioning and development of the regional insurance markets. With an ever increasing in number and level of risks, insurance should take special place in the development of regional economics. However, currently, economic entities do not considere insurance as the main way of risk management, as it is accepted in the developed countries. The modern trends, negative and positive factors affecting functioning of the regional insurance market have been revealed. Indicators of its development in the context of modern trends of economic relations have been evaluated. Comparison with Russian indicators has been done. Results of econometric researches of key indicators of development of the regional insurance market have been presented. |
