Functional classification of the academic disciplines blocks of the educational plan of direction (specialty) at high school

Annotation:

The classification of the higher school disciplines, both previously existed and the modern ones in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standards of Higher Education (FSEA HE) 3+, are analyzed. The necessity of introduction of new academic disciplines classification at the Russian universities is shown. A new principle of splitting of all the disciplines into professional specific, professional basic and the non-core ones is proposed. The explanation why professional specific disciplines must take the 1st level of all disciplines’ hierarchy is provided. The prospects of use of this classification for ensuring quality of training at higher school are shown. Matrices that help to evaluate the value of each discipline of the academic plan in professional specific, professional basic and the noncore training of the graduates are presented.
