Knowledge management system as the policy of improving financial literacy of the society

The article contains the characteristic of the economic literacy and, as well as the literacy in financial issues. The author pays attention to the necessity of the economic knowledge in the course of the life support of the members of the society, as well as on the role of the state in establishing the mechanism of increasing the level of financial literacy of the population. Results of the number of researches devoted to assessment of financial literacy of the population, the level of information asymmetry between consumers of financial products and the services and their suppliers have been provided. The main software products directed to increasing the level of financial literacy of the population are examined in the second part of article; problems of its growth and the ways of its increasing are determined.
