The article analyzes the data of the sociological research devoted to the study of consumer behavior of students in the conditions of globalization processes. The work reveals the options of the consumer behavior of the students, their attitude to advertising of goods and services, acquisition of new products. Based on the analysis of the sociological data the author reveals the factors, which have significant effect on formation of the consumer attitudes of the modern Russian students. Special attention is paid to the study of impact of advertising communications on the consumer choice of students.
