The authors analyze the state of supplementary education in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and the inclusion of children with disabilities in it. The statistics show that in the RS (Y) as of 01.01.2018 there are 431 687 children with special health abilities from 8 to 18 years old and the demand for additional education is very high. At present, there is a problem of shortage of pedagogical staff who can work in the conditions of inclusion, so the problem of additional psychological and pedagogical training of teachers for working with children with special health needs is acute. The goal was to develop a practice-oriented course, which would reflect the theoretical and practical aspects of this activity. Therefore, we examined some of the views of researchers on the training of educators of educational institutions for inclusive education. The authors adhere to the opinion of some researchers that along with special knowledge, teachers should have psychological willingness to work with children with special health opportunities. The article presents an analysis of the introduction of a practice-oriented course in which teachers of complementary education undergo psychological and pedagogical training and are trained to develop projects aimed at involving children with special health abilities in an active social environment. The course is based on the andragogical principles of adult learning: knowledge based on professional interests, training at the workplace, application of reflection on the acquired knowledge. The peculiarity of the course is the mastering by teachers of the methods for developing educational projects aimed at including children with special health opportunities in the society. Upon completion of the training, the results of the advanced training course for employees of the supplementary education system were analyzed.
