Annotation:

The article analyzes the assortment of the production enterprise from the point of view of providing conditions for the functioning of the sustainable development system of a production enterprise. The problem of optimizing the assortment is especially acute in the conditions of the preconditions for global overproduction of goods. In such conditions, the issues of the most careful analysis of the products produced come to the fore, and the most important function of production management is the management of the assortment portfolio of products. As the object of analysis, the assortment of goods supplied by the manufacturer to the retail outlet was chosen and the task was set to optimize this supplied assortment. Production companies in each product group overlap with their assortment the maximum number of market niches. In this situation, the point of sale simply physically can not accommodate the whole range of goods that want to be present on its manufacturers’ shelves. At this point, the task is to determine the format of the store through the analysis of the target audience and the formation of an assortment of goods that maximally polo meet the needs of this particular target audience. As an optimization criterion, the shelf effectiveness factor, the frequency of shipments and average shipments per SKU are proposed. In the course of the study, the values of the optimality criteria were determined and recommendations for the structure of the optimal assortment of the supplier were developed. For each of the three methods of analyzing the optimal assortment of the supplier, recommendations for use have been developed. The proposed recommendations are universal in nature and can be applied in almost any manufacturing enterprise. The proposed methods have already been tested in a number of production companies in the Siberian Federal District.
