PROBLEMS ARISING IN THE ASSESSMENT OF RISKS IN TOURIST BUSINESS

Annotation:

The article examines important issues of tourism business security as a component of the social and economic system of the state and methods of impact on risks. The development of tourism technologies is the leading trend of the world economy conditioned by the social restructuring of modern society. The economic task of the state policy in the sphere of tourist services is defined in the Russian Federation to turn tourism into a competitive, innovative, stable and highly profitable sector of national business. Tourist business involves a complex system of relations between suppliers and consumers of related services, between travel agencies and their competitors, as well as between business partners. The activities of the tour company at the market include: choosing a niche market; development of a tourist product; determination of the volume of services provided; improvement of pricing; expansion of advertising activities, scientific research; attraction of investments; interaction with other companies; relations with government bodies. Currently there is an intensive introduction of methods and models in the formation and development of tourist management systems, which is associated with increased competitiveness of the products offered in the tourism market. The identification of risks in the activities of a tourist enterprise can become a guarantee of its successful and well-coordinated activity. Taking into account the influence of the tourist product on the specifics of the work of the tourist enterprise itself and on the risks inherent in it, the identification of the risks of a tourist enterprise is justified by using SWOT analysis, which is used as a tool for strategic management. The purpose of this work is to study the instruments and types of risks in the market of tourist services. The subject of study is the safety of the tourist business. The object of research is the market of tourist services.
