The paper considers the use of free software GraphViz to visualize the conditions and solve the problem of finding the shortest path on the graph in the formation of computational competencies in the study of subject training disciplines of specialists in various fields to optimize the learning process, and in particular the formation of computational competencies. To achieve the solution of this problem, the methods of formation of computational competence, among which there is the use of this type of tasks as competence, applied and situational and visualization, as the implementation in the educational process of the University didactic principle of visibility and imagery of training, as the transition to figurative-symbolic models, one of the types of information models. The concept of the applied problem from different points of view, the interpretation of the mathematical model as a component of the information model, the use of different features for the classification of tasks, the division of tasks when used as the main classification feature of the type of operations used in the processing of information and computing, when used as the main classification feature of the nature of information processing tasks are divided into two classes: information and calculation. As an example, the system use of the corresponding free software is considered: software for graph visualization package, utilities for automatic visualization of graphs specified in the form of a description in DOT GraphViz language and a component of the free office Suite distributed under the GNU LGPL Libre Office license table processor Libre Office Calc to find a solution to the problem of the shortest path on the graph, an example of their consistent use is given: GraphViz for visualization of the condition and solution of the problem, LibreOffice Calc for calculations |
