Annotation:

The article discusses introduction of the elements of distance learning in the educational process of students at physical education universities. The features of this form of organization of interaction of subjects of educational process, ensuring its dominant position in the system of modern technologies used to ensure the effective development of theoretical principles and practical skills that meet the current requirements of higher education. The advantages of distance learning and the necessity of application of remote educational technologies at training of the students showed that implement individual trajectory in the process of the study subjects according to individual schedule. The insufficient development of technologies of diagnostics of educational achievements of students and the level of development of the planned qualities in the complete or partial absence of direct contact in the system “teacher-student” are highlighted. The characteristics of assessment the quality of learning through the use of distance learning technologies are described, displaying specific features of the sphere of physical education and sport: the state of the electronic educational environment of the University, the level of training of subjects of educational process, composition, structure and quality of training materials, methods and pedagogical technologies, control and management of the educational process, the means and mechanisms of support of subjects of the educational process. Procedures for elaboration of methodological support are reviewed, which can be placed in the electronic educational environment. The experience of implementation of teaching using distance learning technologies at Volgograd State Physical Education Academy is presented. The results of implementation are of qualitative nature, the forecast of increasing the level of readiness of graduates of the Bachelor’s program coupled with improved means of monitoring of the current activity of students is made.
