Annotation:

In the last decade of the 20th century, cattle breeding in the Republic of Tyva has undergone negative qualitative and quantitative changes, which are reflected in the reproduction of the herd, feeding and keeping of animals, mechanization of laborintensive processes, processing and marketing of dairy products. The article contains a comprehensive analysis of the dairy industry of the Republic of Tyva, including: milk production, dairy cattle breeding, dairy productivity of cows, milk processing and dairy production, consumption of milk and dairy products, and an analysis of the amount of state support allocated for the development of the dairy industry. In conclusion, recommendations are given on the directions of development of the dairy industry in the region and a forecast has been made for the further development of the dairy industry in the region. According to the results of the study, an analytical note was issued which was submitted to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tyva and was taken into account. In the process of work, the methods of general scientific and economic research were used: dialectical, statistical, economic and mathematical modeling, expert assessments, abstract logical and monographic research; in the processing of initial information — methods of analysis and synthesis, logical, correlation and statistical analysis, etc.; in justifying the results of the study the methods of analogies, organizational design, modeling based on the concept of economic development. The research methodology included the study of various approaches to the organization of the complex of production and industrial processing of dairy livestock products as a multi-level socio-economic system with the development of an organizational and economic mechanism for its development at the level of an individual region of the Tyva Republic of the Siberian Federal District.
