Annotation:

The article discusses the potentials of producing ecologically pure cattle meat in the conditions of the Volgograd region using innovative low-cost technology that meets national and international standards for the production of organic agricultural products. The development trends of the global and Russian markets for organic products, the institutional environment for their functioning are analyzed; the problem of low hectare revenues characteristic of Russian agriculture is considered; a method of qualitatively improving the economic efficiency of agricultural lands through the formation of an extended production chain has been proposed, which transform the natural and artificially grown forage grasses and grains but in environmentally friendly cattle meat, with high added value per light minimizing costs.
