Annotation:

The article presents the results of the analysis of the peculiarities of development of export of food products of the upper processing stages, using grain as a raw material, from the Siberian Federal District. The purpose of this work is to study the organization of export of flour confectionery and pasta by Siberian enterprises, to determine the possibilities of the confectionery and pasta industry in Siberia in solving the problem of increasing non-raw exports by Russian enterprises. This paper analyzes development of the raw material basis of grain processing and food industry, production capacity of food industry Siberia, the level of provision of population of the Siberian Federal district with bread products in wide range, which considerably exceeds the established norms of consumption. This makes it possible to develop exports to enterprises of the macaroni, cereals, and confectionery industries. The research used methods of logical, expert, statistical, qualitative and quantitative analyses. It is concluded that the prospects for export of flour confectionery products are associated with the most capacious and dynamically growing Asian markets, not only in the Central but also in the East Asia. The study shows that the most successful trade and economic relations are formed with the countries of the EEU and the CIS, there are no specific trade barriers related to religious traditions in the markets of these products. A distinctive feature of development of the confectionery market is the highest level of competition, as a number of European companies have been operating for more than 100 years and have created a stable positive image of their products. Therefore, special attention should be paid to development and implementation of the marketing strategies to promote Siberian products on the global food market.
