CRIMINALISTIC FEATURES OF THE INTERROGATION OF MINORS

The article is devoted to the criminalistic features of interrogation of minors. The authors draw attention to a number of problematic issues. The article touches on some tactical and psychological features of interrogation of minors issues related to the topic, effectiveness of investigative actions involving minors and some methods are highlighted for its effective implementation and creation of the most comfortable conditions for minors. The authors note that it is very important when establishing this investigative action involving minors to establish a full psychological contact with the interrogated, observing a special tact. It is noted that it is important to draw up an interrogation plan, because planning is the basis of the investigative activity, which allows the investigator to determine the entire strategy for his further work in the criminal case. The forms of obtaining evidence from minors are considered, and in what situations should they be used. Also, the article touches on the peculiarity of the form of recording testimonies of minor victims. Substantiation is given of the need to use audio recording and video recording of interrogation in order to obtain the most complete and reliable information on circumstances of interest to the investigation from minors. The authors conclude that knowing only the requirements that are imposed by the criminal procedure law does not ensure the effectiveness of interrogation of minors; this requires knowledge of their age-related psychological characteristics and the use of psychological techniques that are not prohibited by law. In addition, the article raises the question of the need to create specialized rooms for interrogation of minors. The conclusions provide recommendations for resolving some of the main issues related to the subject.
