The article deals with methodological problems that arise in the process of teaching the discipline “Country Studies of Russia” to foreign students in the conditions of distance learning format. Based on the practical experience of teaching foreign students at the Pushkin State Institute of the Russian Language, the authors give methodological recommendations on the use of the most effective methods of distance learning in regional studies, “trace” various ways of including them in educational practice. For foreign learners of Russian, studying the social, cultural and historical aspects of the country of the target language is very important, as it expands their vocabulary and develops their speaking, communicative and intercultural competencies. However, in the conditions of distance learning, updating the educational material and its practical use cause difficulties. The lack of a language environment has a negative impact on the effectiveness of learning. Under these conditions, a careful selection of the course content and the correct organization of the educational process can offset these difficulties. Thanks to the introduction of information technologies in the educational field, teachers have the opportunity to diversify the educational process and activate the independent research activities of students. The purpose of the article is to develop methodological recommendations for distance learning of foreign students in regional studies in the process of their learning the Russian language. The difference in the practical aspects of teaching disciplines in technical and humanitarian universities is taken into account. The authors propose a number of methodological techniques that will improve the efficiency of the learning process, increase the density and volume of speech communication in the classroom. The results of the study can be applied in secondary vocational and higher educational institutions working with foreign students. |
