The author draws attention to the problems of the development of the communicative culture of the modern teenager, namely, the reduction of the emotional and personal factor in the process of communication. The article deals with the concept of “culture”, analyzes various approaches to the definition of this concept. The author comes to the conclusion that in the context of the study, the priority is given to the sociological and value approaches, which most reflect the nature of the relationship between language and culture. The article analyzes various definitions of the concept of “communication”, “communicative culture”. This analysis allows us to give our own definition of the communicative culture of a teenager. The article deals with the main components of the communicative culture. The author comes to the conclusion that the existing traditional components of the communicative culture, namely the culture of speech, the culture of thinking and the culture of feelings, do not fully reveal this concept, and justifies the need to include an additional component in the structure of the communicative culture, namely the culture of social interaction. In conclusion, the author examines modern society and comes to the conclusion that there is an increase in the informatization of social reality. Informatization of social reality leads to modernization in the educational system, which, along with the improvement of the system, creates a number of pedagogical problems.
