THEORY AND PRACTICE OF DEVELOPMENT OF CREATIVE ABILITIES IN PRESCHOOL CHILDREN BY MEANS OF TECHNICAL MODELING

Annotation:

The development of creative abilities in preschool age ensures the success of the child’s socialization process. The relevance of the study is determined by the increased requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of preschool education for psychological and pedagogical support of the creative development of preschool children and the insufficient representation of the necessary tools for the development of children’s creative abilities. The researchers determined the peculiarities of the development of creative abilities of older preschool children by means of technical modeling, where the emphasis is on the organization of independent cognitive and practical activities. The authors describe the program for the development of the creative abilities in senior preschoolers through technical modeling and experimental work on its testing, developed by the authors. The programs are organized in a number of blocks: “Design of animal models”, “Technical design of vehicle models”, “Design of creative models and exhibition of works”. In each block the work with children was built from simple to complex and ended with an exhibition, a mini-performance, a competition, a contest. Technical modeling contributes to the development of creative abilities, self-expression and self-realization of the child, cognitive processes, interest in technology, professions, etc. The program was tested on the basis of a preschool educational institution in Tula in a preparatory group. Based on the results obtained at the ascertaining and control stage of the experiment, it can be concluded that the program for the development of the creative abilities in older preschoolers through technical modeling and the possibility of its application in preschool institutions is successful. In the process of modeling, preschoolers solve an artificially created situation, which is posed by an adult, therefore, the issues of preparing educators for constructive and technical activities with children, from setting a technical problem to embodying a creative idea in practical activity, are actualized.
