The theoretic and methodological approaches to the analysis of competition in social and labor relations are considered, with the allocation of two areas of its analysis. The first direction is that it sees competition as a systemic element of the labour market, which is the basis for the formation of labour supply and demand. The second direction is that it considers competition as a kind of social and labor relations between employees and employers. External signs of imperfect competition in social and labour relations in the domestic labour market, which are the poverty of the working population, income inequality, shadow employment and shadow forms of pay, modern forms of exploitation of workers’ labour, deficit and surplus of personnel are considered. The cause-andeffect relationship between the negative social phenomena of the labour market caused by imperfect competition in social and labour relations and the reproduction of labour in the labour market has been established. The imperfect competitive behaviour of labour market actors, characterized by adaptive behaviour, leads to lower wages for workers and poorer working conditions. The imperfect competitive conditions of the labour market, characterized by imbalances in labour supply and demand, lead to the lack of demand and scarcity of the labour force. On the basis of the statistical analysis and conclusions, the main problem of labour force reproduction in the domestic labor market is identified. It is stated that in today’s labour market the gap between the price of labour and the consumer cost of labour force reproduction affects the quality and structure of labour force reproduction. And the stateestablished MROT as the lower limit of labor force reproduction and the prevailing average earnings of workers in the labor market impairs expanded reproduction of labor in the domestic labor market. |
