The training of an equestrian athlete includes general and special physical, technical, tactical, theoretical, psychological and moral training. Full-fledged physical training of equestrian athletes occurs due to the influence of the peculiarities of the manifestation of complex coordination abilities in some types of work on others (the effect of mutual influence). Good coordination abilities combined with other physical qualities determine the level of athletic performance. There is a need to find effective approaches to the training of young athletes in equestrian sports and, in particular, in horse riding. In the course of the research, the literature on the organization of the training process in horse riding for children and adolescents, relevant scientific and program-methodical materials considering the organization of the training process in horse riding were analyzed. The corresponding pedagogical research and pedagogical experiment were carried out. A set of physical exercises was proposed aimed at the development of horse control skills when riding. The process of sports training in the experimental group of trainees was based on the developed approach, which consisted in the introduction of special exercises for the development of horse control skills. Classes in the control group were carried out according to the traditional methodology. The mathematical results obtained during the pedagogical experiment demonstrated high efficiency of the proposed approach, which consisted in the use of special physical exercises enhancing the training process in the development of young athletes’ riding skills. Those engaged in the experimental program showed a mathematically reliable increase in technical readiness tests. A significant predominance of the indicators of the experimental group over the control group was revealed, which proves the effectiveness of the proposed approach to the organization of physical training of young athletes. |
