The article presents the results of the methodological base examination of teaching Russian in the Republic of Tajikistan, conducted to assess the quality and possibility of teaching based on available materials. The school curriculum, subject standard and textbooks on the Russian language for grades 10— 11 of schools with the Tajik native language were analyzed. Russian curriculum and textbooks were analyzed from the point of compliance with the content of the main purpose of teaching Russian as a foreign language — the formation of foreign language communicative competence of students; the structure of the program and textbooks, the peculiarities of the development of the main types of speech activity in the studied language (speaking, listening, reading, writing), socio-cultural competence, the peculiarities of the selection and introduction of lexico-grammatical, vocabulary, text, control, country studies material, the peculiarities of solving communicative tasks, types and forms of methodological work were also evaluated. The author of this article conducted an analysis of every lesson materials of textbooks on the Russian language for graduating classes of Tajik secondary schools. The author also identified the main problems of teaching Russian is a foreign language in the Republic of Tajikistan, available in the state standard and programs on the Russian language, formulated conclusions and recommendations for improving the methodology of teaching Russian in the Republic of Tajikistan. Russian teaching base assessment results will serve as a search in determining effective ways to improve the quality of Russian language teaching in the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as support for the transition to the methodology of teaching Russian as a foreign language, will help to develop recommendations for updating the educational and methodological base. |
