Numerous processes taking place today in the modern world involve large-scale rescue and humanitarian operations in many situations. This inevitably requires the employees of the EMERCOM of Russia to display such important spiritual values as professional duty, service to the Fatherland, responsibility, etc. The growing importance of professional duty sense of rescuers more and more clearly reveals the conflicting ideas of the world community about humanitarian values and ways to protect humanity. At the same time, professional duty, characterized by the quality of responsibility and spiritual values of the EMERCOM employee, is formed under the influence of objective and subjective factors and manifests itself in such moral qualities as humanism, selflessness, readiness for a feat in the name of saving people in danger, etc. Choice of this professional activity by young people already, a priori, implies that they have an increased sense of responsibility and humanistic values, as fundamental human qualities that become aggravated in the process of life. Professionally important qualities for a rescuer are responsibility, self-control of one’s own actions, will, emotional stability, a balanced attitude to risk, the level of which affects success and career growth [1, p. 23]. Within the framework of the article, contradictions are revealed between the requirements of modern society for the professional training of rescuers who are faced with unexpected turns and aspects of life objects and the presence of an ever-increasing degree of responsibility and humanistic values, as personal qualities of rescuers. The article also presents an attempt to resolve the above contradictions and issues of an integrated approach to the development of indicators of responsibility and professional values among employees of the fire service. |
