DEVELOPMENT OF A SYSTEM APPROACH TO SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF THE ENGINEERING DIVISION OF ROSATOM STATE CORPORATION

Today, most large foreign and domestic companies declare their commitment to the principles of sustainable development and confirm their contribution to the achievement of the sustainable development goals through non-financial reporting and independent ratings. It is important for the Engineering Division of Rosatom State Corporation to meet high international standards in the field of sustainable development. The article studies foreign and domestic experience in the field of sustainable development, notes a high degree of development of non-financial reporting of companies, concludes that there is an insufficient level of development of non-financial reporting in the field of sustainable development of companies that are part of the structure of Rosatom State Corporation, requiring a systematic approach to the implementation of sustainable development programs. An approach is substantiated and proposed for the development of a system of indicators of sustainable development goals for companies that are part of the structure of the Rosatom State Corporation. To date, there have not been developed specifically targeted uniform standards for sustainable development, however, many already existing standards contribute to the achievement of sustainable development goals, for example, ISO standards. The paper shows the ratio of ISO standards and SDGs priority for the Engineering Division. To systematize the work, a strategy in the field of sustainable development is needed, which would reflect not only priority areas, but would be adaptive to changing global trends, the needs of the company and stakeholders. The strategy proposed in the paper is largely based on interaction with stakeholders. To implement the proposed strategy within the Engineering Division, it is proposed to use the principles of project management with the formation of project offices for sustainable development for each project of the Engineering Division, this approach will take into account the specifics of each project and improve the quality and speed of work with local stakeholders. It is also proposed to create a sustainable development department, which should deal with issues and activities for the sustainable development of the Engineering Division as a whole.
