Digital agriculture implies the use of modern methods in the production process, which in the future can increase the productivity of working personnel and reduce production costs. The implementation of any activity by an enterprise is impossible without the use of information, communication, and computer technology systems, since the influence of only human resources on the mechanism of production will not lead to high results. For this reason, a particularly urgent problem at this stage of evolution is the introduction of automated systems in crop production, including at the expense of the state, which are able to prevent downtime, increase crop yields and catch up with countries with developed economies. The eight components of the precision farming system, through assessment, observation and research on the condition of farms, contribute to maximum volumes of high-quality products, with regard to the impact on the environment. The authors characterize each element of precision farming and evaluate the state of farms that have introduced precision farming technology in the context of regions and the involvement of staff in this area of digital agriculture and improving their skills. The main reasons for the slow development of technologies are considered due to the fact that this area is young and is at the stage of implementation and improvement. The authors also identify with the help of the study the main advantages and disadvantages of precision farming elements, based on which the conclusion is formed that the complete rejection of these elements will lead to a deterioration in the financial condition of the agricultural organization, therefore it is important to subsidize industries using precision farming elements. |
