High requirements to the development level of communicative skills in modern schoolchildren determine the problem of this study, which consists in the need to identify the basic conditions for their development. The stated problem in the context of the requirements to the learning outcomes of basic general education is specified in the purpose of the study as the definition of the technology of communicative skills development of students in basic school. The theoretical and methodological basis of the study is the theory of speech genres, the provisions representing the development of communicative skills in schoolchildren, as well as the provisions disclosing the speech strategies and tactics in the texts of publicistic genres. As the main result of the study, the key provisions of teaching schoolchildren speech strategies and tactics carried out in the process of making a school newspaper are formulated. The elements of scientific novelty of the research results are the stated principles of teaching: the development of communicative skills and communicative universal actions is connected with the mastering of speech strategies and tactics; the mastering of speech strategies and tactics can be promoted through organized work with publicistic texts in the process of producing a school newspaper by students. Theoretical significance of the research results consists in the proposed principles of teaching speech strategies and tactics, the allocated types of situations of communication which are significant while studying. Practical significance of the research results consists in the suggested methods of teaching speech strategies and tactics while working on publicistic texts. Content conclusions of the study are as follows: the development of communicative skills and communicative universal learning actions in basic school students is connected with the mastering of speech strategies and tactics; the mastering of speech strategies and tactics can be organized through work with journalistic texts; the mastering of speech strategies and tactics should be realized in such an actual activity for schoolchildren today as the creation of their own school newspaper. |
