MEANS OF COMPETITIVE GAME METHODOLOGY IN THE FINAL PART OF THE PHYSICAL EDUCATION LESSON, TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THE PSYCHO-EMOTIONAL STATE OF STUDENTS

Annotation:

The subject of the research is the means of competitive game methodology used in the final part of the physical education lesson at the university. The basis of this article is a survey of teachers, through which the means and forms of conducting the final part of the physical education lesson at the university are determined, and the analysis of its results; discussion and results of a pedagogical experiment based on the use of competitive game methods in the final part of physical education classes and determination of their effectiveness and impact on the psycho-emotional state of students. It was assumed that focusing the attention of physical education teachers on enhancing the effectiveness of the full implementation of the means of the final part of the training session with the use of the simplest restorative orientation of outdoor games will more effectively contribute to the regulation of the psycho-emotional background of students and the activation of their cognitive processes, which are the determinant of the reproductive processes of the body. It has been established that the high-quality conduct of this part of the lesson allows for a gradual decrease in the physical and psycho-emotional load of the students, accelerates the recovery processes after the main part of the lesson, as well as switches students to further educational activities. After the pedagogical experiment, a statistically significant improvement in indicators was recorded in the experimental group according to the SAN survey: “well-being” by 0.87 unit, “activity” for 1 unit, “mood” by 0.72 unit (p ≤ 0,01). According to the results of the Landolt Rings test, after a pedagogical experiment in the experimental group the Q indicator (speed of information processing) improved by 0.37 bit/s, V indicator (volume of visual information) improved by 206 bits.
