PREVENTION OF SCHOOL SHOOTING

Based on the changes in the sphere of economic, social, and natural factors of our society, the pace of development of public relations has acquired the most dramatic and dynamic character. In order to deal with all these changes, not only teenagers, but also adults should have strong physical and psychological endurance, but as practice shows, not everyone is ready to endure difficult life situations. The personality of juvenile offenders is a complex of psychological, age, individual, physical and legal aggregates that lead to destructive behavior. In order to rehabilitate juvenile offenders, it is necessary to analyze and make changes in the preventive work of law enforcement agencies, education and social services, to improve the quality of preventive work and reduce risks in the development of a harmonious personality of adolescents. It is necessary to pay special attention to the prevention of all types of destructive behavior of minors, because young people are the future of our country and the state and well-being of our society depends on the formation and development of adolescents. Therefore, it is necessary to correct and overcome the destructive behavior of minors, for the further formation and development of a normative personality. This article reveals a new form of destructive behavior — school shooting, defines the behavioral mechanism of school shooters and assesses the factors that have a negative antisocial impact on minors. The author’s approach to the prevention of juvenile school shooting is presented, and the peculiarities of the personality of adolescents committing this type of crime are investigated. The author studied the statistical data and determinants of school shooting. The characteristics of the personality of the minor “shooter”, the features of its development are determined. Measures of psychological, pedagogical and legal assistance to teenage school shooters are also defined. The measures to prevent the spread of school shooting are proposed, the difficulties hindering the effectiveness of such prevention are assessed.
