IRREVOCABLE DEPOSITS AS A TOOL TO ENSURE THE STABILITY OF THE RESOURCE BASE OF CREDIT ORGANIZATIONS

In modern conditions, the search for tools to activate internal resources to ensure investment activity is one of the key tasks faced by the state. The domestic economy is entering a period of structural reform and is in dire need of long-term financial resources. At the same time, financial institutions themselves need solutions to improve their stability and ensure the proper quality of the transformation of savings into investment resources, which is their basic function. The proposed article reveals the need to develop tools for the formation of long money in the economy on the basis of the institution of irrevocable deposits, considers their nature and implementation mechanism, including taking into account foreign experience, suggests directions for the practical implementation of this financial instrument and discloses possible risks. The purpose of the article is to study issues related to the introduction of the institute of irrevocable deposits into domestic banking practice. The objectives of the study are: to justify the need to develop a system of long-term borrowing, including on the basis of irrevocable deposits; to study the institution of irrevocable deposits; to analyze the possibilities of introducing the institution of irrevocable deposits into Russian practice; to assess possible risks associated with the introduction of a new investment instrument. The methodological basis of the study was a systematic approach and such general scientific methods of cognition as scientific abstraction, a combination of historical and logical, analysis and synthesis, the method of comparison and contrast. The results obtained can serve as a prerequisite for further research on the issues of ensuring the sustainability of the resource base of credit institutions.
