The article demonstrates the advantages of export potential as the level of a country’s capability and readiness to efficiently export its products to international markets. The fundamental factors that influence the effectiveness of dairy product exports are identified, including product competitiveness, resource and technology accessibility, infrastructure quality, export conditions, and trade relationships with other countries. The impact of export potential on increasing production and sales volume is shown, which, in turn, increase revenue and tax receipts for the budget. The dynamics of the dairy industry’s development in the Republic of Belarus are analyzed, revealing that dairy exports continue to grow, and the Republic of Belarus is currently one of the largest exporters of dairy products in the CIS and beyond. The primary export positions include goods with higher degrees of processing and added value, such as cheese, cream, butter, milk protein, and concentrates. The main problems faced by the dairy industry are identified, including low levels of innovation, restricted access to new technologies, and decreasing raw material quality. These factors require prompt responses to prevent their further development and worsening of the situation. The article proposes a system of measures and tools to ensure the effective implementation of the export potential of the dairy industry in the Republic of Belarus. Proposals are made to increase production efficiency, reduce costs, improve product quality, and enhance market competitiveness through the implementation of a cluster model for organizing the activities of dairy industry enterprises. The focus is on formation of new vectors of international cooperation in promoting dairy products to foreign markets. A mechanism for neutralizing risks in implementing Belarusian exports is proposed. |
