The author shows the possibilities of artistic practice in creating sketches, architectural sketches, and sketches from life as a means of developing the professional competences of bachelors of architecture and design. The specifics of the profession of an architect-designer imply the need for non-standard organization of practical classes in modern conditions due to the reduction of academic hours in disciplines, in particular artistic practice. Article discusses the experience of conducting internships for bachelors studying at Astrakhan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering in the fields of training 07.03.01 “Architecture”, 07.03.03 “Design of the architectural environment” and is a connecting link in the formation of a professional personality. Personnel training should meet the high demands of society, be based on the foundations of universal human and cultural values Currently, plein airs, held during artistic practice, are a fairly popular format for organizing the creative process. The practice itself, taking place in students’ hometown, makes it possible to capture historical places of urban development dating back to the 16th century in students’ drawings and sketches. This task of preserving antique objects (merchant mansions of wooden and stone architecture) on paper (sketches, drawings,) creates responsibility, a sense of pride and dignity for one’s city, promotes the development of spatial thinking, visual-spatial memory, and the development of intellectual, abstract ideas about working outdoors, strengthening communication skills. Drawing for an architect and designer is a necessary means of developing creative imagination, promotes the development of observation, acute perception, fosters a sense of delicacy in relation to what is seen, and teaches the ability to record the most significant and impressive. |
