PROFESSIONALIZATION OF TRANSPORT SECURITY SPECIALISTS ON THE BASIS OF A COMPETENCE-BASED APPROACH

Annotation:

The article considers the professionalization of transport safety (TS) specialists as an “educational stage” that organizes the objective and subjective readiness of the graduate for professional activity. Attention is focused on the specifics of the formation of the professionalization of TS specialists within the framework of the development of higher education programs in educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia on the basis of a competence-based approach. The article shows the technology of professionalization of TS specialists and its impact on the level of professional training of the experimental group of the Faculty of Transport Safety. The psychological and pedagogical (subjective) conditions that formed the technology of professionalization of TS specialists aimed at the formation of a meta-subject level (creative activity) of students in higher education are highlighted as an expedient continuation of the development of meta-subject competences acquired by students in secondary school. Putilin Belgorod Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia became the experimental base of the study as the only educational organization of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia implementing the priority training profile “Activities of transport safety units”. 112 cadets of the Faculty of Transport Safety were involved in the study, from which an experimental (56 people) and a control (56 people) groups were formed. The article presents the dynamics of the results of the experimental and control groups questionnaires to determine the level of satisfaction with the vocational education provided, testing for the level of professional orientation, the levels of mastering disciplines and professional readiness based on the results of practical training, self-assessment of the level of creative potential of the individual. The experimental group demonstrated an increase in indicators for all the listed positions. The conclusion is made about the impact of the introduction of the technology of professionalization of TS specialists on the effectiveness of vocational training.
