The problem of ensuring the practice-oriented nature of the professional training of future television journalists is actualized, which is associated by the author with the formation of future TV journalists’ readiness for project activity. This type of activity reflects the design nature of modern media products and occupies an important place in the implementation of the activities of a TV journalist as a whole, preparing media specialists for a certain level of perception of the conditions and features of future quasi-professional activities. Despite the numerous publications on solving the problem of formation of readiness for project activity among specialists in various fields, there are practically no studies characterizing the scientific and methodological foundations for the formation of readiness of future TV journalists for project activity. The purpose of the study is to determine the essence and structure of the future TV journalist’s readiness for project activity. The leading positions of systemic, personal-activity and project methodological approaches were selected as the methodology. The study was based on the use of an analysis of scientific literature on the research problem, systematization and synthesis of the data obtained, as well as on generalization, analogy and extrapolation of existing theoretical approaches to clarify universal statements about the essence and features of the concepts of “readiness” and “readiness for professional activity”. As a result of the research, the author’s approach to understanding the essence of the readiness of future TV journalists for project activity was formed. The author attributes motivational-value, cognitive, creative-activity and reflexive-evaluative components that make up an interconnected and interdependent system to the structural elements of this readiness. The obtained results contribute to the development of the theory and methodology of vocational education and can become a promising area for future research on the problem of improving the training of future television journalists. |
