The key link in achieving the sustainability of the national economy today is the growth in the introduction of technologies, new materials into production, and creation of competitive high-tech products. In other words, the course taken by the country’s leadership, namely technological sovereignty, fundamentally does not represent alienation from the borders of the outside world, but production of own products based on available resources and possible sources of reproduction. Issues of technological independence were addressed back in the years of the Soviet Union, during the first sanctions regimes in 2014, and special attention is paid to it at the present stage. It is today, when Russia is faced with the lowering of the Iron Curtain, that regional industry is closest to the development and creation of new types of products, services, and goods. The technological character of regions is formed under the influence of a set of factors relating to the level of development of socio-economic potential, its scientific and technological, production and personnel orientation. The authors made an attempt to formulate their own point of view regarding regional technological sovereignty: a set (complex) of available resources in the region, which serve as the basis for development for the production of the latest products, goods, services in cooperation with the scientific community operating in the territory of a given region, provided that regional science and industrialists share the same goal revitalization of the regional industry along the path of value added growth. The region of Russia, as an element of the territorial division of the country and as a link in management, contributes to the implementation of the course chosen by the country’s leadership, uniting subjects of industrial activity and scientific organizations. In addition, the article formulates directions (actions) for the development of the socio-economic potential of the region as the foundation for ensuring technological sovereignty. |
