The study is devoted to the consideration of the economic aspects of forming integrated energy systems based on urban combined energy sources that produce heat and electricity in a single production cycle. In accordance with the developed model of an integrated energy system, a concept has been proposed for the development of heat-electric power integration at the level of energy consumption and its transition to resourceheat-electric power integration, which makes it possible to enhance the synergistic effect from the joint planning of energy products supply and realize the potential of the possible replacement of one type of energy with another allowing a consumer to manage its load to solve the problems of reducing the cost of energy supply and increasing its reliability. It is shown that in order to implement the proposed model of an integrated energy system, it is necessary to expand the main types of production and economic activities of a combined energy source in urban energy supply and create conditions for realizing the benefits of integrated energy supply, taking into account the interchangeability of energy products for an active consumer. To study the model of an integrated energy system, the application of the theory of energy hubs is considered, which, due to its clear graphical interpretation is one of the most attractive tools for studying the integration processes of energy systems. Methods are proposed for analyzing the power balance of the energy supply system and estimating the marginal cost of the final energy supplied by the integrated energy system with its different product structure, allowing for a comparative assessment of the effectiveness of the formation of the integrated energy system with other urban energy supply schemes. It has been established that the development of urban energy supply through the integration will free up capacity and reduce the need for the construction of new power plants and transport networks, and the use of several types of energy carriers will ensure increased economic accessibility of energy products due to their variation and active behavior of consumers. |
