The article examines the significance of “partner
feeling” as a key factor determining success in dance sport.
The relevance of the study is due to the need to identify and
understand the mechanisms influencing harmonious interaction
in dance couples and to develop effective methods for form-
ing this important skill. The aim of the work is to substantiate
the importance of “partner feeling” and to develop practical
recommendations for its development. The study used data
from the analysis of the results of the Russian Dance Sport
Championship, which made it possible to assess the impact
of this factor on the actual performance results. In addition,
a survey was conducted among 45 trainers from various cities
in Russia, aimed at identifying the main problems of interaction
in dance couples and assessing the role of “partner feeling”
in their occurrence. Analysis of the data obtained shows that
a developed “partner feeling” is directly related to increased
performance of couples, improved synchronization of move-
ments and the ability to anticipate a partner’s actions. The most
common errors made by dance couples associated with insuffi-
cient development of “partner feeling” are identified, such as
desynchronization of movements, insufficient anticipation, prob-
lems with spatial awareness and support. Based on the results
of the study, practical recommendations are proposed for trai
ners and dancers aimed at improving the training process and
increasing the effectiveness of performances. The necessity to
develop specialized exercises and methods to improve this skill
is emphasized, including exercises for synchronization, coordi-
nation and interaction in conditions of limited space. The results
of the study can serve as a basis for developing specialized
training programs and improving the quality of dancer training,
as well as for creating criteria for evaluating “partner feeling”
as a component of the overall training of a dance couple. |
