The relevance of the research lies in the search
for ways to optimize the process of forming the psychological
competence in future teachers. The purpose of the research
is to develop, describe and test the substantive and organiza-
tional aspects of students’ reflexive practice in the process of
acquiring psychological knowledge at a pedagogical university.
The research methodology is based on the conceptual provi-
sions of philosophical and psychological-pedagogical theories
of the study of reflection as a phenomenon of consciousness
and thinking. The work used a set of theoretical and empirical
methods (survey, observation, content analysis). The scientific
novelty of the research lies in the development of scientific and
methodological foundations for the organization of reflexive
practice of students in the process of acquiring psychological
knowledge and concretization of the fundamental provisions of
the reflexive activity approach in teaching general psycholo-
gy at a pedagogical university. The study describes and ana-
lyzes the features of the organization of reflexive activity in the
psychological training of future teachers. The objective and
meaning ful characteristics of students’ individual and collective reflection are determined, reflected in the cognitive, motiva-
tionalneed, emotionalsensory, activity and communication
spheres. Effective reflexive techniques are identified that ensure
the qualitative assimilation of psychological knowledge and
optimal personal involvement of students in the process of form-
ing psychological competence: reflexive essays, selfdiagnosis
of professionally significant qualities, etc. The practical signi
ficance of the study lies in the fact that the results obtained can
be used in the practice of teaching psychology in the system
of higher pedagogical education in the aspect of improving the
reflexive activity approach in the formation of psychological
competence in future teachers. Promising directions in the work
are the study of the role and possibilities of the reflexive activity
approach in strengthening the emotional and value implications
in teaching psychology and the formation of personal meanings
of pedagogical professionalization; in designing and adapting
reflective techniques to foster creativity and creative reflec-
tiveanalytical thinking of future teachers. |
