CURRENT TRENDS AND PROBLEMS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF PROFESSIONAL ETHICS OF A TEACHER IN THE CONTEXT OF GLOBAL CHALLENGES OF THE 21st CENTURY

Annotation: Based on a comprehensive review of the results of the study of current trends in the dynamics of pro- fessional ethics of teachers in the context of global chal- lenges of the 21st century, the article analyzes the existing problems of the development of civilizational sovereignty and ethical positions of teachers and trainees in modern Russian education. The main trends in the dynamics of professional ethics include: the emergence of an ethical threat, consisting in a strategy of radical individualization that blocks students from domestic cultural traditions, family, state and social responsibility due to the integration of domestic education into the Western European educational system; the spiritual and moral crisis generated by globalization and exacerbat- ed among young people; the dynamics of the moral impera- tive, expressed in the substitution of the interests of society for the interests of the individual; the weakening of the role of pedagogical ethics in the systems of scientific knowledge and professional practice; the re­shaping of the social envi- ronment of techno­science (digitalization, the introduction of artificial intelligence), creating conditions for changes in the methodology of scientific activity and in the educa- tion system; the loss of moral values, leading to the creation of pseudo-values as a result of the introduction of various media structures and the Internet into the educational pro- cess; insufficient level of culture of social relations and soci- ety as a whole. The following problems of the development of pedago­ gical ethics in modern educational systems are identified, the resolution of which will contribute to the formation of ethical consciousness of teachers and trainees: the need to take into account the differences and codes of Russian and Western European civilizations when building the educational space of domestic education; the development of civilizational sovereignty and ethical position in the cultural space of mo dern education; improvement of ethical standards of behavior in education and upbringing in the context of global challenges of the 21st century; insufficient ethical and pedagogical support for the cultural content of pedagogical education; difficulties in implementing ethical aspects in the context of the introduc- tion of digitalization and artificial intelligence into education- al systems; increasing the importance of ethical competence in the structure of the teacher’s general professional competence.
