Professional language is an essential structural component of pedagogical science and practice. The terminological cluster of concepts used demonstrates the formation of professional and pedagogical thinking, which, due to the increased speed of life, dynamically reacts to socioeconomic changes even in such a classically organized system as education. The article reveals the pattern of updating the professional and pedagogical thesaurus due to the global challenges of the 21st century. Pedagogical knowledge and its terminology act as a dynamic system in the study, developing under the influence of various factors: the introduction of digital technologies; the convergence of pedagogical knowledge with psychological knowledge; the translation of a person’s image from one science to another; changes in the sociocultural environment and state attitudes towards the educational system; distance learning, etc. The specifics of the professional and pedagogical thesaurus are revealed: its dynamism and dependence on changes in learning, the conditioned demands of the state and society on the quality of education, the correlation of the professional thesaurus and professional thinking, the uneven development of the thesaurus among different pedagogical categories, etc.; it is noted that the pedagogical language in the professional community is more dynamic than that of an individual teacher. When studying the problem of the actual thesaurus of teachers, methodological approaches to its updating (semiotic, field, systemic and humanitarian) are outlined; existing deve lopments of methods and tests for fixing the degree of understanding by teachers of new terms included in the professional and pedagogical thesaurus are studied. Such standard types of patterns of analytical activity as association, sequence, classification, clusterization and forecasting are highlighted. Based on the review of scientific literature, the functions of analytical activity are determined: concretizing, deductive, integrating and predictive. In this study, it is established that the pedagogical terminology of the analytical cluster is characterized by a large number of synonyms and variations of concepts and terms. The concept of the actual thesaurus of teachers, understood as a set of terms actively used by them in professional communication, comprehension and description of their professional experience in analytical activities, is clarified. |
