The introduction of a student-centered
approach to physical education is currently being implemented
through the creation of elective courses for students
within the “Physical Education and Sport” discipline.
Selecting a sport that meets the individual’s unique
educational needs and abilities in physical education and
sport creates favorable conditions for satisfying the need
for physical activity. In recent years, a number of universities
have included an elective course in army handto-
hand combat (AHC) in the physical education curriculum.
The relatively insufficient scientific development of the content
and technological support for this elective course
determines the socio-practical and scientific-methodological
relevance of research in this subject ar ea.
The purpose of the study is to reveal the didactic potential of
the concept of substantive generalization as a methodological
basis for teaching students the striking technique of the AHC.
Research objectives are: (1) to carry out a structural and logical
analysis of the striking technique of the AHC, taking into
account the general and specific in its content; (2) to develop a Program for teaching students the striking technique
of the AHC based on the results of the structural and logical
analysis. The research materials are modern scientific and
methodological knowledge in the studied subject area, presented
in articles from scientific journals, reports of scientific
and practical conferences, monographs, and electronic journals.
Research methods are analysis and generalization of scientific
and methodological literature. As a result of the study,
a systematization of AHC striking techniques was carried out
based on a structural and logical analysis, dividing its elements
into five levels of generalization: fighting stance, movement;
striking actions; punches and kicks; and punches and kicks
with various movement patterns. A program for teaching students
striking techniques as part of the elective course “Army
hand-to-hand combat” was developed, revealing the vertical
and horizontal sequence of learning. |
