The article addresses the issue of organizational
and pedagogical management of military university cadets` professional
socialization amidst the transformation of the higher
military education system and increasing demands on the personality
of the future officer. Professional socialization is interpreted
as an integral, stage-by-stage process of assimilating values,
norms and competencies of military professional activity,
forming identity and readiness to perform official duties. Based
on a synthesis of systemic, activity-based, environmental, personality-
oriented, competence-based and axiological approaches,
the authors develop a structural-functional management
model consisting of four interconnected blocks: target-setting,
content-procedural, organizational, and evaluative. The paper
substantiates that organizational and pedagogical management
represents a special type of pedagogical managerial activity
that integrates administrative and pedagogical mechanisms and
occupies a supra-structural position. The content of each model
block is revealed: the social order, goal and tasks are defined; the
directions and stages of managerial influence, correlated with
the stages of socialization (adaptation and orientation, norms
assimilation, identity transformation, and outcomes), are highlighted;
the subjects, functions, methods and means of management
are presented. Special attention is paid to the set of pedagogical
conditions for the effective functioning of the model:
readiness of educational process subjects to manage socialization,
value-semantic saturation of the military educational environment,
systematic monitoring and diagnostics, and inclusion
of cadets in a subject position. A criteria-evaluative apparatus
is proposed, including value -motivational, cognitive, activitybased,
and identification-reflexive criteria with a level gradation
(high, medium, low). It is shown that the model is implemented
as a closed management cycle with feedback, ensuring selfregulation
and correction. The novelty of the research lies
in substantiating a holistic model for managing cadets’ professional
socialization, while its practical significance is
determined by the possibility of its application for monitoring,
organizing educational and upbringing processes in a military
university, as well as for developing curricula and improving
the qualifications of teaching staff. |
