ON THE USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN MANAGING STUDENTS’ RESEARCH ACTIVITIES: EXPERIENCE, PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS

| Annotation: | Artificial intelligence as a progressive pedagogical mechanism of the modern world has a significant conceptual and methodological importance in the process of development of education and science. Currently, the use of tools generated by artificial intelligence (AI) in the educational process is already a common practice. Since AI can process significantly more information than humans, interactive assistants and adaptive programs allow for personalized research, updated forms of independent learning and self-education, the prediction and commercialization of research results, and the simplification of everyday technical tasks.With the use of the method of questioning and analysis, a study was conducted on the management of research activities of students at a university using artificial intelligence. The study was based on the following universities: Pokrov, Derbent, Anapa, Stavropol branches of Moscow State Pedagogical University, the branch of Moscow State Pedagogical University in Chernyakhovsk, Pedagogical Institute and Law Institute of Vladimir State University named after Alexander and Nikolay Stoletovs, Institute of Social and Humanitarian Education of Moscow State Pedagogical University. The study was based on 3 federal universities with educational structural units located in 7 constituent entities of the Russian Federation and 4 federal districts. The key functions of AI in managing the research activities of students have been identified. The problems in managing the research activities of students have been outlined. Proposals and recommendations have been formulated to improve the management of students’ research activities. The results of this research can be used by specialists in the field of artificial intelligence and academic staff. | ||
