Annotation: In today’s geopolitical conditions, new demands are emerging for ensuring social protection of society and supporting specific groups of citizens. The professional standard for social work specialists highlights a job function that includes supporting military personnel, veterans, and their families. Therefore, it is important for universities to develop the readiness of future social workers to interact with these individuals, including those with combat experience. The purpose of this article is to scientifically substantiate and interpret the pedagogical conditions for developing the readiness of future social workers to interact with persons who have participated in combat. Based on an analysis of scientific sources, regulatory documents, and pedagogical solutions, three pedagogical conditions are proposed: utilizing the potential of interactive lectures to improve the normative and ethical knowledge of future social workers; leveraging the potential of active learning methods to develop the communication skills of students majoring in social work; and assisting students in mastering digital technologies that facilitate the search for information on the provision of support measures for military personnel. These conditions meet the normative-ethical, psychological-pedagogical, and information-technological aspects of interaction between specialists and military personnel. The specifics of implementing these conditions at the university and recommendations for the competencies of the teaching staff are described. This study has practical value for teachers, curators, and educational psychologists who ensure the implementation of educational, upbringing, and informational activities for future social workers. The implementation of these conditions is aimed at training in-demand social sector specialists who are ready to flexibly respond to new challenges and promptly resolve the pressing problems of citizens who ensure the protection of our country.
