The aim of the study is to develop, theoretically substantiate,
and experimentally test a methodology for improving
special physical training in synchronized swimming at the level
of elite sports mastery. The objectives of the study are: (1) to
develop a methodology for developing special physical qualities
in synchronized swimmers of high sporting qualification, taking
into account the qualitative uniqueness of implementing the conceptual
provisions of the theory and methodology of sports, which
determine the content and organization of special physical training
at the level of elite sports mastery; (2) to test the effectiveness
of this methodology in the training process of synchronized
swimmers at the level of elite sports mastery.
The research materials and methods include theoretical
knowledge presented in scientific publications in the subject
area under study, as well as the results of a formative pedagogical
experiment involving two groups of synchronized swimmers,
each consisting of 12 participants, who train in improving
sports skills groups at Olympic Reserve Sports School “Delfin”,
Naberezhnye Chelny, Republic of Tatarstan (experimental
group), and Olympic Reserve Sports School of aquatic and other sports, Saint Petersburg (control group). To achieve
the research goal, a set of methods is used, including: analysis
and generalization of scientific and methodological literature
and program and regulatory documents; questionnaire survey;
pedagogical observation; video analysis; pedagogical testing;
expert assessment; pedagogical experiment; methods of mathematical
statistics.
The article presents the results of a formative pedagogical
experiment, which includes the preparatory and competitive
periods of the annual cycle of sports training. The results
show that the implementation of the experimental methodology,
which includes the use of seven qualitatively different physical
exercise complexes within the framework of standard repetition,
variable exercise, and interval exercise methods; the method
of conjugate impact, and the methods of integral training
(game and competitive), significantly improves the development
of special physical qualities and competitive results in synchronized
swimming for highly qualified athletes. |
