THE “ADMINISTRATIVE VACATION” TECHNOLOGY IN THE PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF A FUTURE EDUCATION MANAGER

| Annotation: | The article examines the “Administrative Vacation” technology designed to involve master’s students directly in the real management of an educational organization. The study focuses on professional training through temporary substitution in an administrative position or direct performance of a manager’s functions. Its purpose is to substantiate the content of the technology and analyze the first experience of its implementation in educational and sports organizations. The research draws on activity-based and person-oriented approaches and uses literature analysis, observation, practice reports, managerial decisions, and evidence concerning their implementation. The findings show that the central feature of the technology is a transition from observing or duplicating a manager’s actions to making and implementing independent managerial decisions in a real professional situation. The first implementation revealed both educational potential and organizational limitations. Organizations are cautious about giving master’s students real administrative functions, while initiatives proposed by students may face resistance from established practices. In all analyzed cases, students used artificial intelligence systems to diagnose the current state of a specific area of the organization`s activity, analyze available information, forecast possible developments, plan further action, and prepare materials. Interpretation of the results, selection of the final managerial decision, and responsibility for its implementation remained with the student. The experience indicates the educational value of combining adaptation to actual organization’s conditions with independent transformative and future-oriented managerial action. The small number of initial cases limits generalization and makes further testing of the technology in different educational settings necessary. | ||
