The article is devoted to the problem of integrating
personality education and psychological and pedagogical
support in the educational environment of a modern university.
The relevance of the study is due to the growing anxiety, emotional
burnout, and decrease in psychological well-being among
students, which requires a revision of traditional approaches
to the organization of educational work and psychological support
in higher education. The purpose of the study is to systematize
modern theoretical and practical approaches to the education
of a student’s personality through the prism of psychological
and pedagogical support, to identify key contradictions
between scientific data and mass university practice, and to propose
a set of practical measures to overcome them. The research
methodology is based on a review-analytical approach using
methods of problem-chronological analysis, systematization
of scientific research (2020-2026), and conceptual synthesis.
The theoretical basis is formed by the activity approach, the theory
of educational systems, the theory of self-determination,
the existential approach to professional self-determination,
as well as modern foreign models of psychological wellbeing
in the educational environment. As the results of the study,
the authors identify four key areas of a supportive environment
(psychological safety, autonomy, support for professional
self-determination, and prevention of burnout among teachers),
reveal persistent contradictions between science and practice,
and develop a step-by-step model of psychological
and pedagogical support for students’ professional self-determination.
The scientific novelty of the work lies in the combination
of neurobiology data, self-determination theory, and the latest
research into a single integrative model of personality development
through the lens of psychological well-being. The practical
significance lies in the possibility of applying the proposed
recommendations by university leaders, psychological services,
and teachers to reform the educational environment. |
