The growth of production in all sectors
of the country’s economy has led to a shortage of personnel.
The highest demand among employers is for graduates
of secondary vocational education institutions with a working
profession. Given the rapidly changing technological
processes,
graduates of secondary vocational education institutions
do not always have enough competencies to perform
their work functions at machine-building enterprises. Based
on the existing problem, the purpose of the study was to develop
and implement an internship program in the activities
of a machine-building enterprise. Thus, the article discusses
the problem of internships at a machine-building enterprise
for graduates of secondary vocational education institutions
hired as tool fitters.
The analysis of the publications allowed us to formulate
the concept of an internship, which is a way for a young specialist
to adapt to a new workplace. In essence, the internship will allow
a graduate of a secondary vocational education organization
who has taken up the position of a tool fitter at a machine-building
enterprise to consolidate the knowledge and skills he has
acquired during his studies, as well as to supplement the former
professional competencies with new work functions. The conducted research has shown that the need to
implement an internship program is related to the problem
of adaptation of young specialists at enterprises
of the machine-building complex. In addition, many graduates
of educational institutions, when faced with difficulties
in the workplace, try to change jobs, which creates problems
for the employer.
In the course of the research, a methodology was developed
for organizing and conducting an internship for the profession
of a tool fitter, which was introduced into the production activities
of a machine-building enterprise. The professional profile
of a tool fitter was designed, as well as a scale for assessing
the level of formation of his labor functions. The experimental
work carried out has confirmed the effectiveness of the internship
implementation in the activities of a machine-building
enterprise for working specialties. |
