| Annotation: | The article is an analysis of specific evaluation of the effectiveness and quality of medical services. The differences of concepts of quality and efficiency have been determined. Effectiveness is considered as an indicator of the service delivery results, and quality is a property that characterizes the process. The types of efficiency in health care have been specified: economic, social and medical. The criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of each type have been analyzed. Components of quality of medical services have been reviewed. The author defines the role of social efficiency, reviews the ways of its detection. In conclusion, the article presents the findings about the features of determination of the quality of services in the health care, determines the nature of the relationship between economic, social and medical effectiveness. |
