Econometric model of the influence of socio-economic factors on the regional management EFFECTIVENESS

The article presents a technique for evaluation of the effectiveness of regional management based on 71 analytical indices, which are grouped into the blocks, and characterize the results of the executive authorities’ performance, fulfillment of their functions and management quality. The results of calculations are presented using the hierarchical rated estimation, and have been tested in the regions in the Southern Federal District of Russia. The statistical analysis of the factors affecting the regional management systems effectiveness has been performed using econometric modeling methods. The requirement of the use of information technology for increasing the regional management effectiveness has been justified.
