THE Tools OF implementation of THE projects FOR improveMENT OF the financial literacy of the population (ON THE example OF THE long-term regional target program “Improving THE LEVEL OF financial literacy OF POPULATION and DEVELOPMENT OF financial education in Volgograd region” for 2011-2015 “)

Improving financial literacy of the population is an urgent problem of the Russian economics. The article has reviewed the results of evaluation and introduction of some tools for improvement of financial literacy of the region. The research has been conducted within the frame of the long-term regional target program ‘Improvement of the level of financial literacy of population and development of financial education in Volgograd region’ for 2011–2015. The evaluation of such tools as issuance of specialized booklets, production of TV programs and the use of possibilities of the social networks has been conducted.
